The last day stared with us speeding up to the top of Aguille Rouge, from there we followed the slope and eventually skied/hiked over the ridge into the reserve. Looked great but we had to wait for a group of snowboarders at the entry... Thomas went traversing (the curse of snowboarders) to the skiers right and after that we were alone on the mountain again...
From below we saw two persons struggling with the traverse, they seemed to have lost a ski and also to be coming from the Lanchette chairlift which is a long traverse in steep terrain... As Thomas said; it is easier to get to the place where we were from the higher entry point where we started the descent.
After lunch we did the Aguille Rouge steeps again and after that we ended the day in the Lanchette area before we headed back home.
I had promised the ski technichian Mattheu a bottle of wine for his attempts to salvage my trashed ski so I and Andreas went to Arc 1600 for some wine and sausage shopping. Andreas bought but I had to pay sausage and ham for the afterski where we teamed up with the snowboarders where we had our snacks and beer... Tobias spent his day in Italy and seemed happy about the powder he had during the day.
